Raya Ben Dor, DMD

Dr. Raya Ben Dor graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in the top 5% of her class. She is a recipient of the following awards for academic achievements: Dr. S. Gary Cohen Award in Oral Medicine, PASS-International Dentist Award and First Place in Class Excellence Award. Dr. Ben Dor stays up-to-date by perfecting her skills through additional studies and advanced courses in aesthetic dentistry, endodontics and dental implants. She is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Her excellence in clinical dentistry has been recognized by America’s Best Dentists, Main Line Today’s Top Dentists, and the Philadelphia Magazine.

Her emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up with the latest advancements in dentistry enable her to provide patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Ben Dor treats patients of all ages and has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry from restorative and cosmetic dentistry to root canal treatments.

Dr. Ben Dor enjoys time spent with her family, exploring the outdoors through hiking, and traveling to new places.

Betty Ben Dor, DMD

Dr. Betty Ben Dor has been a member of the Starr Valley Dental team since she was 14 years old and has played a role in every aspect of the office, from housekeeping to assistant to front desk. She completed her undergraduate education at Muhlenberg College and received her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2025. Dr. Betty was recognized with the American College of Dentists New England Section Outstanding Student Leader Award, the American Academy of Periodontology Student Award, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Pre-Doctoral Student Achievement Award. Dr. Betty has worked on research in the fields of implantology, dental education and public health, and oral oncology, which she has presented at multiple national research conferences and her work has been published in high impact scientific journals. She is currently pursuing a specialty certification in periodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Betty loves to spend time outdoors, hiking, skiing, and swimming.
